Steven E. Hutnyan

teven Hutnyan 41 died tragically in a car accident Tuesday, August 27,2024.  Born in Pottsville, PA.,  He was the husband of Brittany (Rusnak) Hutnyan.  He was the son of the late Steven M. and Gail E. (Weber) Hutnyan.  He was a graduate of Mahanoy Area class of 2001. He attended Penn State University receiving his bachelor's degree of science with a major in criminal justice. He was employed by Carpenter Technology for many years. Steve was a cherished soul who could always be found with a big smile on his face. His smile and love for life was contagious. He found joy in singing, dancing, and the love for his baby girl Kinsley, his wife Brittany & his three step children. He has left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His passion for music and dance illuminated the lives of those around him, while his unconditional love for his daughter and family radiated warmth and affection. Steven's spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing in his love and laughter. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time. Steve had a love for cats! We are asking for anyone who wishes to make a monetary donation to the Hillside SPCA in Pottsville in Steve's name in memory of him.
