Shirley (Gebhard) Yocom

Shirley E. Yocom, 89 of Exeter Twp., PA., passed away on September 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital, Bern Twp., PA.  She was the wife of the late Sterling J. Yocom, Sr.  Born in Sassamansville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Elva M. (Fraiser) Gebhard.  She had worked for the former Bell Telephone Co first as an operator and then later retiring from Verizon as a Supervisor.  She is predeceased by one grandson, Daniel Yocom; two sons, Sterling J Yocom, JR, Joseph Yocom.  Surviving is one son, Theodore Yocom, Exeter Twp., PA; sister, Patricia Ledford, Pottstown, PA; 4 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the chapel.  Interment will be at Limerick Garden of Memories.  Online photos and memories can be shared with her family at www.cramp-hummelfunerlahome.com  CRAMP HUMMEL Funeral Home, Centre Ave., Rt 61, Reading has charge of arrangements.
