Ruth (Tissiman) Horner

Ruth Horner, 82 of Robeson Twp., PA., passed away on June 6, 2025 at the Reading Hospital.  She was predeceased by her partner of 27 years John Missimer in 2017  Born in Knaresborough, Yorks, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Olive (Jack) Tissiman.  Ruth was a graduate of Grammar School and Business College in York, England.  She had worked for Boscovs Restaurant for over 20 years as a server until she retired in 2016. Ruth was predeceased by one sister, Pauline Phillips.  Surviving is one daughter, Rachel wife of David Reinhard, Mohnton, PA; son, Gavin husband of Denise Horner, Millsboro, DE; Brother, Thomas Tissiman and Sister, Margaret Tissiman both in England.  3 Grandchildren, Justin Ryan and Kevin and there are 4 Great Grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  A Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
