Richard C. Wagner

Richard C. Wagner, 90 of Reading, passed away on Oct. 19 th in Ephrata Manor where he was a recent guest. He was the husband of the late Marie M. (Spatz) Wagner. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Robert C. Wagner and Dora ( Schwambach )Betz wife of Robert Betz. Richard has worked at Armour Meats loading the trucks for the daily shipments. Richard was a US Army World War II Veteran.  He was pre-deceased by a son, Ronald Betz; one grandson, Todd M. Renninger. Surviving are two daughters, Susan A. wife of Morris Roseman, Mt. Joy, PA, Jane M. Renninger wife of Clifford Renninger of Shartelsville, PA; two sons, Richard C. Wagner Jr., partner of Georgine Miller, Reading, PA, Jeffrey W.Wagner husband of Cathy Wagner of Birdsboro, PA; Four grandchildren, Donald R. & Murray D. Roseman, Cliff and Chad Renninger; 11 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Friday October 26 2018_at 10:00 AM in the Cramp-Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading. Relatives and friends will be received from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Dr. Lancaster, PA. 17604.
