Nicholas "Nick" V. DePietro

Nicholas V. "Nick" DePietro, 38 of Reading, PA., passed away on May 17th.  Born in Bensalem, PA., he was the son of the late Dennis M. and the late Karen S. (White) DePietro. 

Nick had a heart of gold, and was one of the best people in the world. Throughout his life he loved and cared for others and contributed to the community. He was a volunteer firefighter with Exeter Township, he held fundraising events all over for those in need, and he helped at the Ukrainian social club whenever he could. He also rallied his friends to make turkey dinners with all the fixings and beverages and organized  to serve people hot Thanksgiving meals on Penn street here in Reading PA every year. 

My brother was a rock for me, he always watched out for me and my girls, he helped me whenever he could with my car, house, you name it, he helped me with anything he could and always did good for anyone in need. He will be sorely missed. I’m not sure what I will do without my little brother Nicky I love you Nicky, always will He is predeceased by two sisters, Crystal DePietro and Amy Jo Magners.  Surviving is one sister, Elizabeth A. Hernandez, Reading, PA; one brother, Joshua Michael DePietro, Reading, PA. nephews Ben Magners and Ethan Magners and nieces Ariana Hernandez, Grace-Ellen Hernandez Lauren Hernandez and his grandniece Lilli Rivera Hernandez.  A viewing will be held with no services from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the Cramp-Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  Burial will  be private.
