Marie B. Vinski, 84 of Gilberton, PA., passed away on April 12, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Bernard V. Vinski, who passed away in 2016. Born in Shenandoah, PA., she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Mary (Zamonsky) Snarski. Prior to retirement she was a cook at Rest Haven Nursing home, Schuylkill Haven, PA.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Frackville, and the Frackville Seniors. Past memberships include Gilberton Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and Our Lady of Siluva Aux. as well as Treasurer of the PTO Mahanoy Area School District. She was predeceased by sisters, Theresa Dawe and Josephine Strenchock. Surviving are her children, Bryan Vinski, Morea, PA, Lou Ann wife of Ronald Knittle, Barnesville, PA, Jeanette wife of Joseph Marteusz Middleport, PA , Laura wife of Donny Smith, Fallentimber, PA; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 49 N Line St., Frackville, PA. Rev. Guiseppe Esposito, Officiating. Family and friends will be received from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 49 N. Line St., Frackville, PA. 17931 or to the Frackville Senior Center, 130 E. Frack St., Frackville, PA. 17931.
