Maria Mercedes Peralta de Aybar

Maria Mercedes Peralta de Aybar, 82 of Reading, PA., passed away on March 3, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital, Bern Twp.  She was the wife of the late Felix De Los Santos Aybar.  Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Emenegildo Peralta Espinal and the late Erenestina Munoz Aybar.  Mercedes was a homemaker and caring mother and grandmother and great grandmother.  She is survived by her children, Heriberto Aybar, Alfredo Aybar, Felix Aybar and Rosa Maria Aybar all of Reading, PA, and Ismenia Aybar, NY; 15 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.  Viewing and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 Noon at the Cramp-Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  Interment will take place in the Dominican Republic.  Online photos and memories can be shared at www.cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com
