Magdaleno Garcia, Jr.

Magdaleno Garcia, Jr., 71 of Reading, passed away on Aug. 26h in his residence.  He was the husband of Margarita (Melendez) Garcia.  Born in San Croix, he was the son of the late Magdaelno  and Victoria (Cruz) Garcia. Magdaleno was employed by Exide Corp. for over 37 years where he worked as a Smeltzer.  He is survived in addition to his wife by his children, Brenda L. Garcia, Alexander Garcia, Julio Garcia, all of Reading, PA, Samuel Garcia, Elias Garcia, Jose Garcia and Mark Anthony Mateo all of Florida; 20 Grandchildren; 2  Great Grandchildren.  A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 - 8 PM in the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Laureldale Cemetery, Reading.  Online photos and memories can be shared at www.cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com  CRAMP HUMMEL Funeral Home, Centre Ave., Reading has charge.
