Laurel A. Pappas

Laurel Ann Pappas, 62, passed away peacefully March 29th in the Reading Hospital after a long illness. 
Born in Queens, New York on September 5th, 1960, she was the daughter of Paul N. and  Mary Ann (Smola) Pappas of Jefferson Township. Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, William Pappas, Reading, PA., and Lawrence Pappas, Pottstown, PA., and his loving companion Kathy Oxenreider. Laurel graduated from Tulpehocken High School in 1978.  She also attended  Albright College.  Laurel loved working in food preparation for many years and last worked as caregiver for several years.  She loved all animals and was also a huge Eagles football fan.  She will always be in the hearts of family and friends who remember her kind heart. Columbarium inurnment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale, PA will be at the convenience of the family. Cramp Hummel Funeral Home, Centre Ave., has charge of arrangements.
