On November 6th Kristin Sherwood, 49, with her creative expertise and truly unique self, spiritually transcended. Her wit and wisdom were as sharp as her tools for book binding, leather work, sewing, and quilt making. She was incredibly talented and produced many quality pieces that will be cherished by her loved ones for years to come. Kristin's sense of humor and her red hair were some of her most outstanding qualities. She could always find humor, while irreverent at times, in any situation and created many belly laughs as a result. Her loved ones will have many treasured memories and funny moments to hold her close. Kristin worked for Iron Mountain where she fostered and supported many beautiful relationships with co-workers. As many of you know, spending time with Kristin was fun, unique and quirky, and often accompanied by witnessing oddities in the universe such as emotional support peacocks, goats on trampolines, and the parrot wielding pirate at Lowes. There was never a dull moment with Kristin and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kristin was born in Newport Beach, CA and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Greensboro, NC for work in antique book restoration. She then moved to Pennsylvania to be nearer to family.
Kristin is survived by her parents, Lorraine (Gerrity) Sherwood and partner Claudia Irmiere, Towaco, NJ and Johnson Sherwood and wife Sharon, Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
