Gloria J. (Phillips) Compton

Gloria J. (Phillips) Compton, 71, sadly passed away on August 9, 2022 after a year long battle with cancer.  Born in Frackville, preceded in death by her husband, Warren C. Compton, Jr as well as her parents James and Marian Phillips, brother James Phillips and son Brian C. Kerr.  She is survived by her children, Michael F. husband of Candy Kerr, Hamilton, OH, Michele L Ker, Adamstown, PA, Jeffrey S. Kerr, Harleysville, PA. and Heather A. (Swiderski) wife of David Kelly, Wernersville, PA.  Also surviving are her siblings, David Phillips, Leesport, PA, Diane Thiel, Reading, PA.  She has 11 Grandchildren- Heather Kerr, Jesse Kerr, Ckylee Ebbing, Cameron Ebbing, Trevor Kerr, Fatima Kerr, Stephanie Galka, Calvin Kerr, Alyssa Kerr, Peyton Kerr, and Autumn Kelly. Also 2 Great Grandchildren, Londyn and Joshua Hoskins.  Gloria was one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1971 and had devoted her life to teaching people about God's Word from the Bible and his promise (John 5:29 and revelation 21:4-5)  She loved her God Jehovah with all her whole heart and was highly grateful for the ransom sacrifice of God's Son Jesus Christ.  She would invite anyone of interest to visit a free, safe and secure website at jw.oreg for hope for the future.  Services for Gloria will be privately held.  Online photos and memories can be shared at www.cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com CRAMP HUMMEL Funeral Home, Centre Ave., Reading has charge of arrangements.
