Glenn Gates, 69 of Mohnton, passed away on Feb 16th in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Kathy A. (Owens) Gates. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Nathan W. and Nellie M. (Sawyer) Gates. Glenn had worked at DeMets Factory of Mohnton as a Machine Operator. My dad was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and man. He loved his family more than anything. He loved to dance and sing to the oldies. He had a quirky sense of humor, some very memorable facial expressions, a fix for almost anything, and the sweetest soul. He will be missed by so many. I hope he knows just how much we all loved him and miss him. We pray that he is at peace.
