Francis "Butch" J. Ritzo

Francis J. "Butch" Ritzo, 80 of Girardville, PA., passed away on August, 18, 2024 at his residence.  He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Chiaretti) Ritzo who passed away September, 2012.  Born in Ashland, PA., he was the son of the late Francis H. and Carmella (Zangari) Ritzo.  Butch was a graduate of St. Vincent's High School, Girardville.  He was a Union Contractor  working in Masonary,  When he was younger he had played in a band, and was a collector of Lionel Trains.  Butch enjoiyed speding time with his grandchildren and driving around his Mustang in nice weather.   He is survived one daughter, Mary Jane wife of Scott Lindenmuch, Ashland, PA; one son, Francis Ritzo, Schuylkill Haven, PA; 4 Grandchildren, Brett and John Lindenmuth, and Nicholas and Anthony Ritzo; one Great Grandson, Oliver Lindenmuth.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 260 N. 2nd St., Girardville, PA.  A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in church.  Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fountain Springs.  Online photos and memories can be shared in his memory to the family at www.markjhummelfuneralhome.com or www.cramp-hummelfuneralhome.com    MARK J HUMMEL Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
