Dr. Brian M. Schwab, D.M.D., F.I.C.D

Dr. Brian M. Schwab, 43 of Alsace Twp., passed away on Jan 4th.  He was the husband of Dr. Audrey D. Smeltzer Schwab for 12 years.  Born in Fleetwood, PA., he is the son of George P. Schwab, Temple, PA., and the late Cheryl (Rector) Schwab.  Dr. Schwab was a graduate of Fleetwood High School, class of 1998 and then had graduated from Albright College in 2002 studying Biology and Pre-Dentistry.  He  graduated 1st in his class at the  University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2006 where he then taught as an Adjunct Professor for many years.  Dr. Schwab had then become the President of Schuman and Schwab Dentistry of Blandon where he last worked. He was an active member of Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church and Lector. Dr. Schwab was a member of the following organizations: Berks County Dental Society, Pennsylvania 4th District Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Dental Association, International College of Dentists, Fellow American Academy of Implant Dentistry.   He is survived in addition to his father and wife by his two sons, John P. Schwab, Luke M. Schwab, at home; one daughter, Hailey D. Schwab at home.  Also surviving is one brother, George husband of Jessica Schwab, Owings Mills, MD.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Road., Reading, PA. 19605.  Viewings will be held on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in church and Monday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in church.  Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of St.. George.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA. 19605.   CRAMP HUMMEL Funeral Home, Centre Ave., Reading has charge of arrangements.
