Born in Lancaster, PA., he was the son of the late Mark R. and Eva (Sweigert) Gehr. Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Kimberly wife of William Haberstroh, Myerstown, PA; 4 Grandchildren, Noah Burgess, Evelyn, Andee, Willow Haberstroh.
