Burton Laux Obituary

Burton R. Laux, 95 of Garrison, NY, passed away on Jan. 9th in the Lebanon VA Hospital. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Morey) Laux, who passed away in 2000 and also the late Catherine (Portman) Laux who passed away in Dec. 2016. Born in West New York, NJ., he was the son of the late Frederick and Theresa (Nobel) Laux. He was a US Army WWII Veteran. Burton had worked for many years as an Agronomist until he retired. He was predeceased by a brother, Russell Laux. Surviving is one daughter, Eugenia Laux, Sinking Spring, PA; one son, Brooks Laux, NY; 2 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements are being held by the MARK J HUMMEL Funeral Home, Lower Alsace Twp., Reading.
