Rev. Lillie Mae Ramsey

Rev. Lillie Mae Ramsey, 80 of Reading, was called to the Lord on May 26th at 11:04 AM in the Berkshire Center, Exeter Twp.  She was the former wife of Willie Ramsey of South Carolina.  Born in Aikens, SC., she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Ella (Griffin) Hightower.    Lillie was employed at the former Wilson Safety Products of Reading  as a Machinist.  She was a member of Church of the Deliverance of Reading.  Rev. Ramsey had helped and raised over 30 foster children over the years.  She was pre-deceased by a great grandson, Ajani Rostick.  Surviving are her children, William T. Ramsey, Jr, George Allen Ramsey, Doretha Ramsey and Debrah wife of Roy Tucker, all of Reading, PA, Calvin husband of Michelle Ramsey, Allentown, PA, Cheryl Hamilton, Washington, DC., Alexander husband of Monique Ramsey, Homestead, FL. Also suriving are her siblings, Joseph husband of Fran Hightower, George husband of Vivica Hightower, William husband of Carolyn Merriweather, Ethel Robertson, Mamie Anderson, Junita Abney; 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren; many Nieces and Nephews.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in True Faith Indepentent Holiness Church, 1017 Old River Rd., Birdsboro.
