LEVERT BATTLE Obituary

1931-2018

Levert M. Battle, 86 of Rading, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on March 21st in her residence. She was the wife of the late Pastor Lonnie Battle, Jr Born in Wrens, GA, she was thd daughter of the late Willie and Lillie Kate (Jones) Hunt. Mrs. Battle enjoyed serving with her husband, founder of the Children of God Prison Ministy. She was an excellent cook and homemaker. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Louise Dixon. Surviving are her sons, Larry Battle, Lebanon, PA, Harry husband of Marci Battle, Reading, PA, Willie Louise Battle Companion of Betty Crawl, Reading, PA, Lonnie Battle, III, Rading, PA, Garry husband of Tiffany Battle, Lebanon, PA, Barry Battle, Reading, PA; daughters, Julia Pitts, Jeannette Conrad, both of Reading, PA, Helen Battle Lebanon, PA; brothers, John Willie, Wrens, GA, LeRoy Hunt, Augusta, GA; sisters, Lavon wife of Albert Smith Birdsboro, PA, Ruby Hutson, GA, Vonnie Crews, Miami, FL, Lillie Harris, Annapolis, MD, Anice Farmer, Wrens, GA; 14 Grandchildren; 18 Great Greandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 Noon in Spring Valley Church of God. Viewing will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon in Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park
