Cathy A Metz

Cathy Ann Fisher Metz, 60 of 67 Walnuttown Rd Fleetwood, PA went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at home. She was the wife of Carl Metz. They celebrated over 24 years of marriage on October 19, 1994. Cathy was born in Cleveland, Oh on November 19, 1958, a daughter of the late Barbara J. Flynn Switzer. She was employed by Boyer’s Food Market, Fleetwood and Arner’s Restaurant, Reading. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Jason Edward Fisher, Hellam, PA.  Cathy is also survived by 4 sisters and 1 brother. Sherry Wolgemuth, husband Jim Wolgemuth Mount Joy, and Titi Cathy to Amber Mamrak, Mount Joy, PA and Ashley Mamrak, Elizabethtown, PA and Great Titi Cathy  to Joseph and Matthew, Elizabethtown, PA; Debby Flynn, Wichita, KS, Aunt to Anna Marie married to Kyle Woodard, Great Aunt to Alexander Flynn Woodard all of Wichita, KS; Patty Stickney Myers, married to Terry Myers, Aunt to Joshua Stickney and Melody Stickney, Great Aunt to Halie and Lance Wiley; Jonathan Switzer, married to Crista, Aunt to Asher Switzer all of Wichita, KS; Jennifer Adler married to Garrett Adler, Aunt to William Adler and Shane Adler all of Roundrock, Tx. Cathy was the best shopping partner this side of the Mississippi.  She was in restaurant mode each time she shopped for food and would come home with enough to stock the restaurant pantry. Cathy was an avid fund raiser for Autism and Breast Cancer research.   In lieu of flowers please send a donation to your favorite charity.  Services and internment is at the convenience of the family.
